Churchill and I met and created the Atlantic Charter, a statement of war aims. By the summer of 1941 my country was in a undeclared naval war with Germany. Churchill and I met again and signed the Anglo-American Alliance and created the Combined Chiefs of Staff, which was a joint of the British and American military command with authority over all Anglo-American opperations. This coroperation would last for four years. Our friendship would lead to other things such as the creation of the atomic bomb, the defeat of the Nazis and the Japanese, and the invation of Normandy. Churchill came to me and asked me for help because Hitlar was threatening to envade and he wanted the US in the war so his country wouldn't be taken over.
